I am an interdisciplinary artist working with mixed media, exploring the intersection of traditional and digital techniques. My practice spans various themes, utilising immersive illustration and extended reality to transform inert media into dynamic, meaningful imagery. Additionally, I curate a collection of animal-themed illustrations called the Illustrated Menagerie, which I established within my role as a senior lecturer in Illustration at the University of Portsmouth, UK. The Illustrated Menagerie has exhibited four times and the latest exhibition is documented in a book. I am currently exploring themes of sustainability and plastic pollution in the environment, with a particular focus on their impact on health.
